The Regional Committee for Tourism in Paris-Île-de-France, Viparis, and Aéroports de Paris have announced the signature of a partnership in order to strengthen the Parisian welcome system of business travellers.
For the second consecutive year, the french capital has been rewarded the number one city for the reception of international congresses, by the ICCA (International Congress and Convention Association),and wish to reinforce its Welcome pack for the Fair Show and Congresses, thanks to a partnership with the Aéroports de Paris.
This reception arrangement, free shutlles, visitors; conference delegates and exhibitors services that have been initiated six years ago by Viparis and The Regional Committee, is also targeted to fair shows and congresses that have an international dimension and are taking place in one of the ten Viparis venues. By going into partnership with them, the Aéroports de Paris has just reinforced this tool aiming to promote destination, develop the quality of the reception arrangements in Paris and its surroundings, enhance the service experience, and ensure a VIP service to the national and international business customers.
Paris has identify 252 international congresses in 2014, an increase of 7.7<% compare to 2013. Also, the part of international conference delegates (33%) has risen by two points on the total amount of incoming participants.
