BUDDING CHEFS Designed like a village, and located in a 1500 m² former carpentry shop in Gerland, La Commune is opening soon, thanks to the unshakable enthusiasm of Déborah Hirigoyen (from the firm Archimix), Damien Beaufils (Urban Project) and Damien Doublet (who helped find investors). A fully fledged food hall and incubator for young talent, La Commune will host 15 new resident chefs each year, selected by Chef Philippe Escaich. Shared facilities, a 400 m² central kitchen and a dining area with a capacity for 250 diners will provide an opportunity for each one of these culinary artisans to experiment with their craft. A welcoming space open to all, La Commune will also be available to host corporate events every day of the week, with a stage, conference room(capacity of 200 people in a theatre-style layout, 270 for a cocktail event and 100 for a seated dinner), and 500 m² terrace, providing plenty of potential to imagine innovative events.

KOPSTER HOTEL Lavorel Hotels’ fourth establishment will open at the end of 2018, located at the heart of the Olympique Lyonnais football club’s Groupama Stadium. The group has decided to create a singular identity of its future three-star hotel. This superb meeting venue will also include a restaurant, bar and 132 m² terrace.
