Orléans Métropole - Historically a destination for success


Ideally located 1 hour by train from Paris and the Orly International Airport, Orléans Métropole is undoubtedly an ideal congress destination. The city of Loire and Joan of Arc, listed in the UNESCO world heritage and completely renovated since 2014, offers a real quality of life and many MICE venues : a nice way to ally work and conviviality. At the meeting point of the Loire Tech Valley and several scientific and industrial competitivity clusters, the capital of the Centre-Val-de-Loire Region is definitely full of assets for business events.

THE CO'MET PROJECT
As one of the largest conference centres in France, CO’Met is a unique complex, grouping together three major structures:
- a 1,000 seat conference room and 800 m² of committee rooms;
- a 10,000 seat hall for sports meetings or cultural events;
- a new, 35,000m² exhibition area.
This extremely modular and connected set-up, which will be delivered in 2021, is ideally suited to hosting very large events of national or international standing.


PLACES OF INTEREST


1) The Conferences Center provides 1,600 m² of bright and customisable reception and exhibition areas, 9modular meeting rooms and a 470-seater restaurant area The key to it all is the Auditorium which seats 495 and has a 120 m² stage fitted with state-of-the-art acoustic technology.


The Greenhouse in Botanical garden, built in 1836 so that rare plants brought by boat up the Loire from exotic lands could acclimatise, has been renovated and converted and has been hosting prestigious events since 2017.
This verdant setting includes a vast, central greenhouse, an Orangery and two wings which can welcome up to 280 people. The venue holds receptions, events and conferences and it is a perfect illustration of Orléans' heritage and excellence in the botanical field.


Access
At the heart of the Loire Valley, Orleans benefits a favorable position, at the crossroads of major roads such as the A10, A19 and A71.
Two train stations (SNCF) serve the regional capital located 1 hour from Paris and Tours.
37 daily shuttles connect Orléans to Paris.
